Dr. Joel Taatjes
After completing his undergraduate course studies at the University of Wisconsin and Pre-med Core studies at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Joel Taatjes went on to pursue his chiropractic education. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Northwestern College of Chiropractic followed by certification as a Schofield Master Chiropractor and Industrial Disability Evaluator.
Quality chiropractic care in a comfortable and friendly environment was the goal of Dr. Joel Taatjes when he opened Redwood Chiropractic back in 1989, and it remains his mission today. In order to achieve that goal, he actively serves his community at local and international levels. He is a Certified Intern Training Supervisor with Life College of Chiropractic and a Certified Field Doctor Training Supervisor for Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Taatjes is also a member of the World Chiropractic Alliance and annually participates in field mission trips to Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
Dr. Joel Taatjes has been freeing people from pain in the clinic in Petaluma, CA. Since 1989, Dr. Taatjes is committed to promoting optimal health and well-being of patients.
Dr. Taatjes uses a ‘whole person approach’. This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Taatjes is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Dr. James Rogers D.C.
Associate Chiropractor
Dr. Rogers shares his ‘whole person approach’ to achieve optimal health and is here to help you accomplish/preserve your good health.
While returning to college after the summer break, the future Dr. Rogers was involved in a motor vehicle accident that caused neck pain and arm weakness. He was told he should go seek a chiropractor. Emerging from his corrective care, the future Dr. Rogers came away free of his injuries and, as an added benefit, feeling stronger. His life path was changed forever. He returned to school, changed his major, eventually graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic, West.
Coming from a background of being active (including hiking, cycling, water skiing, snow skiing, weight lifting), Dr. Rogers approaches Chiropractic care from the patients view, with the goal of functioning optimally, assisting in living a better life. He has been using this method since 1998.
In 2017, Dr Rogers joined his long time colleague Dr Joel Taatjes at Redwood Chiropractic. Dr. Rogers shares his ‘whole person approach’ to achieve optimal health and is here to help you accomplish/preserve your good health.
